* Extremely absorbent surfaces have to be painted with white primer before installation!
The table above is a general recommendation.
Study the installation instructions for each of the thems carefully and check the glue manufacturer's instructions carefully before assembly begins!Filling All surfaces should be sanded and filled before installation. Depending how skillfull the installer are one layer of filler will be enough added to the wall where the
walltalkers® dry erase surface are to be installed.
A perfectly filled wall without the need for finishing (sanding) after the surface will be dense and its possible to glue without primer.
Primer Basic Paint all surfaces that are suspected to be extremely absorbent. The risk otherwise is that the glue "disappear" into the base and the
walltalkers® surface does not stick to the wall.
Different variants of the assembly:
Horizontal Vertical The hole wall Paiting
- Horizontal from corner to corner mounted 80-90 cm above the floor.
- Vertical from floor to ceiling: fitted with a bit of extra length and is cut on site
- The whole wall, from corner to corner and floor to ceiling: Whole horizontal piece mounted 80-90 cm above the floor. Leftover pieces into the ceiling and down to floor. Overlappning technique and dubble cutting is highly recommended to esure neat and light seams.
- Painting mounted 80-90 cm above the floor. Size, shape and location according to your needs.
Magnetic Backing All
walltalkers® whiteboard surfaces can be fitted with a magnetic backing for temporary mounting on existing enamel boards or other items made of steel. ex refrigerators, arcive cabinets, etc.
This possibility is particularly practical when we develops all types of planning boards, in teaching situations or when you want to install a temporary whiteboard and have access to a steel surface. Choose to glue on the magnetic rubber layer yourself or order a finished dry erase surface from our factory.
